Sponsor one of MARE’s annual events that help fund our work and drive awareness about adoption from foster care.

WALK/RUN FOR ADOPTION

Each May, MARE supporters from across the state gather to walk, run, and stroll in support of adoption from foster care. Our main event takes place at Jordan’s Furniture in Taunton, MA, and draws hundreds of families, teams of coworkers, and friends of MARE. In 2023, the Walk/Run expanded to include regional “Neighborhood Walks” throughout the state. The Walk/Run generates $100,000 in gifts from over 1,000 unique donors.

Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange (MARE) is a private nonprofit that bridges the gap between a beleaguered foster care system and the right of every child to a permanent, stable family.

We exist to help find adoptive homes for the hundreds of children and teens in Massachusetts foster care in need of permanent families. We believe in a future where every child has the permanent family they deserve.
