Virtual Adoption Matching Event for Children with Disabilities
Join us for a virtual matching event featuring children with disabilities. Families new to the adoption process and those from out-of-state are welcome to join us and learn more about these children. At the event, we will have a panel of experienced families, video snapshots, and opportunity to hear from social workers discussing the children on their caseload.

Central Region Meet & Greet
If you are in the process of completing your home study or have a finalized home study, please join us for an in-person meet & greet to hear from adoption social workers about waiting youth from the Central Region and to discuss potential matches for your family with them. Please note, waiting youth will not be in attendance, only social workers and families.

Transracial Parenting Training Series
MARE is pleased to present a 4-part virtual training series on transracial parenting, presented by our friend and partner Isaac Etter and his Identity company. Families at any stage in the adoption process are welcome to attend any and all trainings sessions – it is okay if you can’t come to them all. Participation certificates will be available that can be used toward MA DCF required training hours for foster/pre-adoptive families. Social workers are also welcome to attend any sessions.

Virtual Matching Event for Waiting Families Featuring Children, Siblings, & Teens of Color
Families that have a completed the Homestudy/Caregiver Training & Assessment or have completed MAPP training, please join us to learn more about children of color from Massachusetts (ages 5+). At the event, you will have the opportunity to hear from social workers from all regions about children, siblings, and teens of color on their caseloads, and to speak with them about potential matches for your family.

Teen Board Game Matching Event
Join us to meet waiting children and sibling groups ages 12+ while playing new and fun board games, and have the opportunity to speak with their social workers. Open to families in the home study process or currently licensed to adopt from foster care.
