HI! My name is Destiny.
here’s what others say…
Destiny likes one-on-one attention from adults. She has resided in the same foster home for over two years and is bonded to her foster parent. She is able to make appropriate attachments to caregivers and considers her foster home to be a safe place for her. Destiny is in the second grade. She receives academic support and attends a social skills group once per week at the school. Destiny is schedules for a consult with an occupational therapist soon to address sensory concerns.
Destiny does best when there are clear rules and expectations, and when there is structure and consistency. Due to her trauma history, caregivers need to closely supervise Destiny with peers. She’ll need to learn healthy and appropriate boundaries. Destiny is a vibrant, happy and energetic girl who needs a calm, safe, structured and nurturing home with little chaos, in order to thrive. Destiny is legally freed for adoption, and will need regular sibling contact with her three siblings who reside in Massachusetts. All families will be considered, but a single female head of household, two-parent mom and dad family, or a female same-sex couple is preferred. Destiny would do best in a home with older or no other children.
