Jaxon is a ten-year-old boy of Caucasian/Hispanic descent who has made tremendous gains in the past year. Jaxon is described by those who know him as very “sweet, caring, kind, and silly”! Jaxon is in elementary school and receives some additional support in the classroom that has helped him to thrive. Jaxon has worked hard to have positive behavior and make progress with his school work. Jaxon currently resides in a residential program, but he has done a lot of hard work to be ready to live in a family. He has enjoyed sharing a room and has made meaningful connections with his peers. Jaxon is said to be a great advocate for himself and his needs. He responds well to limits and boundaries that are set by the adults in his life.
Legally freed for adoption, Jaxon’s social worker is open to exploring all families with or without older children in the home. Jaxon has shared he would love to have other children in the home to play with. Jaxon would like a family where he can do fun things. Jaxon is described as very sweet and he gets along with others easily and enjoys being around both adults and children. He would do well in a home that has pets.
