HI! My name is Charissa.

"I love to sing!"

Charissa is an engaging African American/Caucasian thirteen-year-old girl who enjoys performing and being in the spotlight. Charissa has a passion for music—she sings at church and plays the violin! Charissa loves all food, especially anything spicy! Charissa also likes doing arts and crafts such as painting. Charissa benefits from an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) at school and can struggle at times with peer relationships; however, she does extremely well with
one-on-one attention.

Charissa is a loving and engaging child who will need time to build trust with adults.
Charissa would do best in a two-parent-home where her needs can be met with nurturance
and support. She should be the youngest child in the home, and would particularly like a
Spanish speaking home. Charissa is legally freed for adoption and will need to maintain a
relationship with her younger brother. Charissa would thrive with consistent parenting, love
and guidance.
