Boston GloveThe Boston Globe has partnered with MARE since 1976 to publish the Sunday’s Child® column. Since its inception, more than 1,100 children have been featured, leading to over 300 placements with adoptive families.

BYCThe Boston Yacht Club
Since 1987, The Boston Yacht Club (BYC) in Marblehead, the oldest yacht club in New England, has hosted the Chowder Challenge and Golf Tournament to support MARE. This relationship began and has grown due to the dedication of the Quigley family, who are BYC members and champions of our mission.

The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption
Wendy's Wonderful Kids LogoThe Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption is a non-profit public charity dedicated to dramatically increasing the adoptions of the more than 140,000 children in North America’s foster care systems. Wendy's Wonderful Kids is a signature program of the Foundation. Since 2006, MARE has been a proud recipient of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption grant for the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids program, with one Wendy’s Wonderful Kids recruiter based in Springfield and one based in Boston

The Jack Williams Endowment for Wednesday’s Child
JW-WCA television journalist since 1968, Jack Williams has been recognized by numerous organizations for his reporting skills, commitment to the community and his work on behalf of his our weekly news series feature Wednesday’s Child, which celebrated its 28th anniversary on the air in 2009. Over the years, Jack has raised a significant amount of funds in support of MARE programs and services. In April 2000, Mr. Williams created The Jack Williams Endowment for Wednesday’s Child. The Board of Directors of the Jack Williams Endowment for Wednesday’s Child makes annual grants of over $250,000 to a variety of organizations, including MARE.

Jordan’s Furniture
Eliot Tatelman and the team at Jordan’s Furniture have worked in partnership Jordanswith MARE since December 1998. Through their sponsorship of MARE programs and services, Jordan’s has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to raising public awareness and advancing the cause of adoption through foster care. Jordan’s Furniture hosts a Heart Gallery exhibit in each of their four stores, hosts Adoption Parties and other events, and takes an active role in collaboration with MARE and the Department of Children & Families to help more children find permanent adoptive families. More than 215 children have been placed with adoptive families as a direct result of Jordan’s involvement.

The Massachusetts Department of Children and Families
DCF The Department of Children and Families (DCF, formerly DSS) is dedicated to the safety, permanency and well being of children who have been abused and neglected in family settings, or by recognized caretakers. MARE works closely with DCF and agencies contracted by DCF to find “a permanent place to call HOME” for those children in Massachusetts’ foster care system who cannot be reunited with their birth family.

Route 128 Used Auto Parts
Rt 128Route 128 Used Auto Parts is the automobile recycling partner for the MARE Car Donation Program, a fundraising initiative that provides significant support to MARE programs and services. Owner Charles Mantenuto and his staff believe strongly in the MARE mission and are advocates for the organization’s programs and services.

WBZ-TV BOSTON
WBZSince 1981, WBZ-TV has worked in partnership with MARE to produce the Wednesday’s Child program, hosted by Jack Williams. WBZ-TV maintains features about waiting children on their website. Nearly 1,000 children have been featured on the segment.

Webster PrintingWebster One Source Logo
Webster Printing is a full-service print, design, and direct mail shop that has been partnering with MARE since 1995. Webster prints our monthly Photolisting® pages, and donates the mailing service to get those pages out to the hundreds of libraries and social service agencies that maintain the MARE Photolisting® Book. Webster has also helped improve the design and printing of the colorful MARE Newsletter.
